I need Swiss medical insurance - can you arrange that?
Home > FAQ > Our services > Medical Insurance

When you become a Swiss resident, you need to subscrive to private medical insurance from a Swiss insurance company of your choice. This system applies both to Swiss and foreigners.

The 1996 Medical insurance law forces insurance companies to insure anybody, whatever their health. The compulsory insurance is compulsory for both you (you must have one) and the insurance company (they must insure you). This insurance covers many treatments, not only the most basic care. You can choose your own doctor if he is in Switzerland.

Premiums do not depend on your own health but on your age. Only premiums for extra insurance (private rooms, etc...) will vary according to your health.

Please contact us if you need to arrange for Swiss medical insurance with an English-speaking agent. We can also help for other forms of insurances (car, theft, life insurance, etc...).
